About The Author

Ripley Harper enjoys telling stories but finds writing a challenging and frustratingly slow process. That doesn’t mean she’s going to stop any time soon, however, because she loves writing at least as much as she hates it.

After growing up in a place not too unlike the (deliberately unnamed) town described in Ordinary Girl, Ripley decided to see as much of the world as she can. Since then, she has been to more than twenty countries, often spending years living and working in faraway places. 

For now, she lives in Cape Town with her husband and two daughters. When she’s not wrestling with her computer, she loves walking in the mountains or swimming in the freezing Atlantic Ocean.
